I am a Lawyer / Attorney at Law in Germany and a "Fachanwalt für IT-Recht" (Specialist Solicitor for Information Technology Law).

Furthermore I am accredited as a legal expert at the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ICPP) and work for clients that want their IT-products be evaluated for the Privacy Seal under the Data Protection Act of Schleswig-Holstein.

Last but not least I am admitted as EuroPriSe LEGAL Expert for the Pilot Project of the European Union - The European Privacy Seal (EuroPriSe). As a EuroPriSe LEGAL Expert I work with international clients that want to apply for the European Privacy Seal with their IT-Product or Services.

As a lawyer I am consulting national (german) and multinational companies and groups in the field of Information Technology Law, especially Data Protection Law and Law of IT-Security. I have worked with large (international) corporations in data protection projects. For example I have advised US-companies in regard to developing and carrying out European Privacy Policies for the European subsidiary corporations.

I help companies comply with Data Protection & IT-Security Standards and I am external data protection official for companies.

I have a special focus on legal support for internal data protection officials in small, mid-size and large corporations. I carry out on-site and remote coaching, especially in legally complex projects, e.g. cross-border flow of personal data.

I am respectfully nice and keep a rather unformal but precise and concise work style. If you are looking for someone who is always wearing a black suit and a tie, you should possibly look for someone else. But if you like to have fun at work - even with rather "dry" issues like privacy & data protection, then I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I'm not cheap. In the field of legal expert opinions for privacy seals I usually offer fixed fees. Otherwise I bill by the hour and my hourly rate ranges - dependent on the details - between 200 € and 300 € excl. VAT. I usually don't work without a retainer.
